Pre-cruise hotel drop
Ask which city before you order anything. This is the port where that question matters most. If the answer is Galveston, a Strand or Seawall delivery the night before is straightforward. Terminal and pier delivery
Four terminals along the wharves, operated by the Galveston Wharves under port security rules. Terminal 10 is the newest and takes the Oasis-class ships. Access is controlled and turnaround days are busy.
This is a real option here, and the one to take the most care with. Deliveries onto a ship go through the vessel's agent and suppliers who hold port credentials. Some florists can arrange that. More advertise it than can actually do it. Before you rely on it, ask three questions and expect clear answers to all three: have they delivered to this specific terminal before, who signs for it at the other end, and can they get it there several hours before departure rather than close to sailing time. A vague answer to any of them means you should use one of the other two paths.

Terminal assignments change between seasons and between ships on the same line. Confirm against the booking before you rely on one.

A hotel drop only works if you send to the building the passenger is actually sleeping in. These are the clusters that matter at this port.
The Strand and downtown Galveston
Walking distance to the terminals and full of restored historic properties. The natural choice for a passenger who wants to be near the ship.
Seawall Boulevard
The beachfront hotel run, ten minutes from the port and heavily booked by cruise passengers arriving the day before.
Houston and Hobby Airport
Fifty miles inland. A large share of Galveston passengers fly into Houston and sleep there, which puts them well outside any Galveston florist range.

If the ship has already sailed
Galveston sailings leave in the afternoon and the island empties behind them. There is no way to reach the ship afterwards, and no line here will forward a gift to Cozumel or Costa Maya for you. If you have missed it, send to the home address for their return.
