Cruise Ship Flowers

An informational directory. Not a shop.

Almost no florist can deliver flowers to a cruise ship.

People assume a local florist can drive a bouquet to the pier and hand it to someone boarding. Cruise terminals are secured federal facilities. That delivery does not exist as a retail service at any port on this site. There are three things that do work, they are constantly confused with each other, and picking the wrong one is how flowers end up nowhere.

Order from the cruise line itself

Every major line runs its own gift desk and it is the only route that reliably puts flowers inside the cabin. The catch is the deadline. These are measured in days before sailing, not hours: five business days at Carnival, four at Royal Caribbean, two weeks at Holland America. Miss it and there is no late option.

Send to the hotel the night before

Works well, and only if the person is actually staying near the port the night before. You need a real guest name, the hotel, and the date. This is the fallback when the cruise line deadline has passed or the line has no flower program.

Delivery to the terminal or the ship

Real, but not retail. It runs through the ship agent and credentialed port suppliers on commercial terms. Consumer florists cannot perform it regardless of what a booking page claims, and a florist who takes the order will usually be delivering to a freight gate, not to a passenger.
