Southampton is the busiest cruise port in the United Kingdom and the only one on this list where a transatlantic liner still runs a scheduled service. Five terminals are split between the Eastern Docks, entered at Dock Gate 4, and the Western Docks at Dock Gate 10. They are a couple of miles apart and the gate you need is decided by your ship, not your preference.

Pre-cruise hotel drop
Weaker here than at the Florida ports, and the reason is London. Many Southampton passengers travel down on the morning of the sailing rather than staying locally, which means there may be no pre-cruise hotel to send to at all. Ask before you assume one exists. If they are staying in London the night before, order from a London florist to the London hotel.
Terminal and pier delivery
Southampton is a working commercial dock estate rather than a passenger pier. Entry is by dock gate with security control, and the terminals sit inside it.
This is a real option here, and the one to take the most care with. Deliveries onto a ship go through the vessel's agent and suppliers who hold port credentials. Some florists can arrange that. More advertise it than can actually do it. Before you rely on it, ask three questions and expect clear answers to all three: have they delivered to this specific terminal before, who signs for it at the other end, and can they get it there several hours before departure rather than close to sailing time. A vague answer to any of them means you should use one of the other two paths.

Eighty miles away. A large share of Southampton passengers overnight in London and travel down on the morning of departure, which puts them entirely outside any Southampton florist range.

If the ship has already sailed
Cunard runs transatlantic crossings from here, so a missed Southampton sailing can mean the passenger is unreachable for a week at sea, and nothing can be sent after departure. Cunard also warns that even a correctly placed order may arrive the day after embarkation when demand is high, so build in a spare day.
