Exceptions that catch people out

• Carnival Cruise Line. Carnival states that deadlines are subject to change due to the itinerary of the ship and to holidays.
• Carnival Cruise Line. Delivery can run until 9:00pm. A passenger who boards early as Diamond, Platinum, in a suite or with Faster to the Fun may reach the stateroom before the flowers do.
• Carnival Cruise Line. Catalogue prices as listed on Carnival's flowers page when read on 2026-10-11 (ten results, $69.95 to $129.95).
• Carnival Cruise Line. Carnival Fun Shops publishes that flowers are not offered for sailings departing San Francisco, Jacksonville, Europe, or Australia. Those ports are not listed as a Carnival flower path.
• Celebrity Cruises. The current Celebrity Store pages describe what can be bought but publish no ordering deadline for flowers that we could locate on 2026-08-30.
• Celebrity Cruises. Because the deadline is unverified, a Celebrity sailing is the one case on this site where we would tell you to phone before you plan.
• Cunard Line. Cunard requires the passenger's full name and date of birth at the time of ordering. Have both before you call.
• Cunard Line. Ordering is by phone to a UK number (0344 338 8641) or, on the US flowers page, (800) 728-6273 for a gift for someone else. The live catalogue is behind My Cunard.
• Cunard Line. Cancel a florist package less than four days out and the charge is 100%.
• Cunard Line. Substitutions of comparable or greater value are allowed.

• Disney Cruise Line. The Disney figure is a calendar-day count, not business days. That makes it the most forgiving deadline here for a late decision, and the easiest to misjudge if you assume business days like Carnival and Royal Caribbean use.
• Holland America Line. Holland America publishes no flower-specific deadline separate from its general gift deadline, so the two-week figure is what a flower order inherits.
• Holland America Line. Orders go through a department, not a shopping cart. Expect a phone call rather than a checkout page.
• Norwegian Cruise Line. Norwegian names the only European ports where flower delivery is available: Helsinki, Finland; Dover, UK; Venice, Italy; Barcelona, Spain; Piraeus, Greece; Lisbon, Portugal; Copenhagen, Denmark; Southampton, UK; Rotterdam, Netherlands. A European sailing from anywhere else is not covered.
• Norwegian Cruise Line. Norwegian states flower deliveries are not available for Whittier, Alaska.

• Royal Caribbean International. The four-business-day flower deadline is written only for sailings departing from contiguous U.S. ports. Royal Caribbean publishes no equivalent figure for its other homeports on this page, so Barcelona and Southampton sailings are not covered by it.
• Virgin Voyages. Virgin publishes flower packages only for voyages departing Miami and San Juan. No other Virgin homeport is listed here as a flower path.
• Virgin Voyages. Flower packages can be cancelled or changed for a full refund up to 72 hours before sailing; Virgin states it does not accept cancellations after that.
• Virgin Voyages. Virgin's onboard policies say Sailors are not permitted to bring potted or fresh-cut flowers on board, so a hotel-delivered bouquet cannot be carried onto a Virgin ship.
• Virgin Voyages. Virgin asks that add-on items such as flowers be declared to customs and agriculture officials if brought off the ship.
• Virgin Voyages. The add-on page describes the entry package as a dozen fresh roses; the terms describe it as a bouquet of twelve fresh flowers. We quote both and do not pick one.

When the request is bigger than one cabin

Everything on this site is scaled to a single cabin gift order, and flowers delivered to cruise ship cabin means that gift-desk path. A group block, a wedding, a charter, a VIP amenity programme or a repeating fleet-wide arrangement is a different business entirely, and the cruise line gift desk is not built for it. Those requests go through the ship's agent or a supplier credentialed at that port, on commercial terms and on a purchase order, not through a consumer gift page.

Two practical consequences. First, do not try to place twelve cabin orders through a gift catalogue at the last minute; several lines cap or throttle that and none of them prioritise it. Second, the deadlines on this page do not apply to commercial supply, which runs on longer lead times set by the vessel's provisioning schedule rather than by a consumer cutoff. Ask the line's group department, not its gift desk.

How to read a cutoff without getting burned

• Business days are not days. Carnival and Royal Caribbean both count business days for flowers. A Sunday sailing with a Monday holiday can move a four-business-day deadline back by nearly a week. To send flowers to a Carnival cruise, count business days back from departure, not calendar days.
