How to Send Flowers to a Cruise Ship in New York
New York is two passenger terminals, not one address, and neither of them is Cape Liberty. Manhattan is on the Hudson in the West Forties. Brooklyn is in Red Hook. Cape Liberty is in Bayonne, New Jersey, across the harbour — a different port, on the Cape Liberty page. Royal Caribbean and Celebrity sail from Bayonne, not from Manhattan. That is the single fact that catches most senders out.

Volume figures count passenger movements, which include people getting off as well as getting on. They indicate how busy a port is, not how many cabins sail from it.
Which of the three paths works here
Cruise line pre-order
4 lines sailing from New York run a published flower desk. This is the most reliable way to get flowers into the cabin. The deadlines are below and they are earlier than most people expect. One further line stays listed as a gift desk with flowers unverified.
Pre-cruise hotel drop
Strong in Manhattan, where hotel density and florist density are both as high as they get anywhere. Confirm Manhattan or Brooklyn before you order. A Cape Liberty passenger staying in Bayonne is on the other port — see that page — and a Midtown florist is the wrong side of the water.
Terminal and pier delivery
Manhattan and Brooklyn are the New York terminals, both secured under Port Authority operation. The Manhattan piers sit inside a controlled apron at West 48th Street. Brooklyn is a controlled apron in Red Hook. Cape Liberty in Bayonne is a different port — see that page — not a third New York berth.
This is a real option here, and the one to take the most care with. Deliveries onto a ship go through the vessel's agent and suppliers who hold port credentials. Some florists can arrange that. More advertise it than can actually do it. Before you rely on it, ask three questions and expect clear answers to all three: have they delivered to this specific terminal before, who signs for it at the other end, and can they get it there several hours before departure rather than close to sailing time. A vague answer to any of them means you should use one of the other two paths.

If the ship has already sailed
New York sailings to Bermuda and Canada leave in the afternoon and the terminals clear quickly, and there is no way to reach the ship afterwards. Cunard transatlantic crossings from Brooklyn are the least forgiving of all, since the next stop is Southampton. If you have missed it, send to the home address for their return.
