How to Send Flowers to a Cruise Ship at Vancouver

Vancouver is the Canada Alaska homeport at Canada Place. It is not Seattle's Pier 91, and it is not a Juneau call. A florist in Vancouver, Washington is a different city. Holland America's opened Vancouver page names Canada Place on the embarkation walk-up.

Volume figures count passenger movements, which include people getting off as well as getting on. They indicate how busy a port is, not how many cabins sail from it.

Which of the three paths works here

1

Cruise line pre-order

2 lines sailing from Port of Vancouver run a published flower desk. This is the most reliable way to get flowers into the cabin. The deadlines are below and they are earlier than most people expect. 2 further lines stay listed as a gift desk with flowers unverified.

2

Pre-cruise hotel drop

The fallback when the passenger is staying downtown the night before. We have not yet listed a shop that names a specific Vancouver hotel and posts a cutoff. Seattle's hotel drops stay on the Seattle page.

3

Terminal and pier delivery

Canada Place is a secured passenger terminal on the downtown waterfront. We have not opened a florist page that names that terminal or a receiving desk.

This is a real option here, and the one to take the most care with. Deliveries onto a ship go through the vessel's agent and suppliers who hold port credentials. Some florists can arrange that. More advertise it than can actually do it. Before you rely on it, ask three questions and expect clear answers to all three: have they delivered to this specific terminal before, who signs for it at the other end, and can they get it there several hours before departure rather than close to sailing time. A vague answer to any of them means you should use one of the other two paths.

Cruise line gift desks at Port of Vancouver

One listing per line, carrying that line's own published wording. A gift-desk row means flowers are unverified: the page stays for coverage, not as a working cabin-flower path.

Line pages: Celebrity , Holland America , Princess , Royal Caribbean . Program, quoted cutoff, and the ports where that line applies.

Where the pre-cruise hotels are

A hotel drop only works if you send to the building the passenger is actually sleeping in. These are the clusters that matter at this port.

Downtown and Canada Place

The cluster next to the terminal. Shops we opened posted clocks and boutique-hotels or generic hotel language. That is not a named hotel, so they stay off this page for now.

Vancouver, Washington

A different city. A .net Vancouver florist page is not this port.

If the ship has already sailed

A downtown Vancouver hotel will not forward flowers up the Inside Passage. If you have missed the sailing, send to the home address for their return.
