Honeymoon cruise flowers
Honeymoon cruise flowers have to be waiting in the cabin, or they are a bouquet at the hotel the night before. A ship is not an address you add at checkout. The cruise line gift desk is the path that delivers to the stateroom. We do not sell flowers and we do not take orders.
Order from the cruise line gift desk
Use the cruise line gift desk when the deadline has not passed. Virgin Voyages is the record that speaks to a couple directly: flower packages delivered to the cabin, and only on voyages departing Miami and San Juan. The add-on page describes the entry package as a dozen fresh roses; the terms describe it as a bouquet of twelve fresh flowers. We quote both and do not pick one. The flower deadline is earlier than Virgin’s other add-ons. The table quotes the governing sentence. Norwegian’s English catalogue names Flowers and Romance Package orders beside a separate flower rule, and US homeports stay unverified. Carnival’s Fun Shops catalogue includes Classic Romance with White Wine and Classic Romance with Red Wine. Princess celebration packages are a phone line, and flowers there are unverified.
Send to the hotel the night before
The hotel the night before is the fallback when the gift-desk deadline has passed and they are in a named hotel. You need the name on the reservation, the hotel, and the night. How it works is the card line: "arriving [date], sailing the next day." On Virgin Voyages that bouquet cannot come aboard with them. The line states Sailors are not permitted to bring potted or fresh-cut flowers on board.
Credentialed terminal delivery
Credentialed terminal delivery hands the flowers off at the port. It is not a honeymoon cabin drop. Use it only where a florist has a real way in. Solent Stems publishes arranged delivery for Southampton cruise terminals and selected Portsmouth Harbour sailings, including Virgin Voyages departures when available. My Divine Decors publishes TWIC credentials for a PortMiami handoff. How it works lists the three questions to ask before you rely on either.
How it works walks through the three paths. Each line has its program and the quoted cutoff. The cutoff table lists every line side by side.
Gift-desk deadlines for this occasion
Quoted from each line’s record. Nothing here is a price we set or a cutoff we estimated. A gift desk where flowers are unverified is not a working cabin-flower path. When a line publishes more than one figure, this table shows the one that governs a flower order and the line page quotes the rest.

Notes for this occasion
Romance packages and flower deadlines
Virgin’s governing quote is that flower package purchases must be made no less than seventy-two (72) hours prior to sailing. The same terms say other add-ons may be purchased up to forty-eight (48) hours prior, and that this shorter window excludes any packages that include flowers. Flower packages can be cancelled or changed for a full refund up to 72 hours before sailing; Virgin states it does not accept cancellations after that. Norwegian publishes two clocks: "Flowers and Romance Package orders must be received no later than 5 days prior," and, in the flowers section that governs, "Flower orders must be made no later than one week prior to sailing and may only be delivered on the first day of the sailing." Those are not two options to mix. Cruisers searching Norwegian celebration packages reported finding no flowers listed. A P&O traveler report, not a catalogue price, described a top celebration package of about £425 that included cabin flowers, then flowers that died within a couple of days and a later cabin change that left the package behind.
What to write in the order note
Virgin’s flower record does not publish a free-text card script. The package is a pre-voyage add-on, limited to Miami and San Juan departures. On a hotel drop, use the How it works line, "arriving [date], sailing the next day," and put the occasion in the message. Cunard, if the honeymoon is on Cunard, already requires the recipient’s full name and date of birth on a phone order. La Bomba’s Fairmont room-service drop in Vancouver requires vase style and guest or room notes. Solent Stems arranges cruise date, ship, terminal, and occasion before a Southampton or Portsmouth terminal delivery.
Timing on embarkation day
Virgin says flower packages are delivered to your cabin, and only on voyages departing Miami and San Juan. It does not publish an hour. Carnival can deliver between 10:00am and 9:00pm on embarkation day, so the cabin may be empty of flowers when an early boarder walks in, and an order placed that day is not guaranteed that day. Cunard aims for the day they embark and warns that high demand can push flowers to the following day. That slip matters if the surprise is the gangway, not day two. Norwegian may deliver flowers only on the first day. P&O provides florist-package items on the first day of the cruise, not at the terminal door.
Cabin vase rules
On Virgin Voyages the vase question is settled before you pack: Sailors may not bring potted or fresh-cut flowers on board, so the hotel bouquet stays at the hotel. If a Virgin flower package is brought off the ship later, Virgin asks that add-on items such as flowers be declared to customs and agriculture officials. Holland America traveler reports say the vase that comes with a stateroom arrangement is yours to keep, and that a Delft vase can be boxed. Those reports are not Virgin’s rule and not a published price list. Vases sold separately were reported from about $17.50.
Listings
Fioridella is a San Juan hotel drop, not the cruise piers. The Miami hotel drops name downtown and beach hotels, not a gangway. My Divine Decors is the PortMiami listing that publishes TWIC credentials. Solent Stems and The Flower Shop Southampton are arranged terminal paths, not cabin catalogues.

Ports
- PortMiami
PortMiami sits on Dodge Island, reached by one bridge and one tunnel, with the city immediately across the water. It looks close, and it is close, which is exactly why people assume a florist can drive over and hand flowers to someone boarding. Getting onto the island is the part that is harder than it looks. MSC, Oceania, and Regent Seven Seas sail from here; we have not found a passenger flower desk for those lines, so there is nothing further to hunt on their sites. Virgin Voyages, which also sails from here, publishes flower add-on packages for Miami departures.
- Port of San Juan
The cruise piers are in Old San Juan, on the bay side of the old city. The hotels most passengers book are in Condado and Miramar, a few miles east. The old city is walkable and charming, which is exactly why people assume a delivery can be walked in.
- Port of Southampton
Southampton is the busiest cruise port in the United Kingdom and the only one on this list where a transatlantic liner still runs a scheduled service. Five terminals are split between the Eastern Docks, entered at Dock Gate 4, and the Western Docks at Dock Gate 10. They are a couple of miles apart and the gate you need is decided by your ship, not your preference.
- Port of Vancouver
Vancouver is the Canada Alaska homeport at Canada Place. It is not Seattle's Pier 91, and it is not a Juneau call. A florist in Vancouver, Washington is a different city. Holland America's opened Vancouver page names Canada Place on the embarkation walk-up.
Questions
How do honeymoon cruise flowers get into the cabin?
Through the cruise line gift desk, when that line has a working flower path and the deadline has not passed. You order from the line; the line delivers to the stateroom, usually on embarkation day. Virgin Voyages sells flower packages to the cabin only on voyages departing Miami and San Juan. If the deadline has passed, use the hotel the night before. Credentialed terminal delivery is a port handoff, not the cabin. How it works walks through the three paths. We do not sell flowers or take orders.
Can we carry a honeymoon bouquet from the hotel onto the ship?
Not on Virgin Voyages. The line states Sailors are not permitted to bring potted or fresh-cut flowers on board, so a hotel-delivered bouquet cannot be carried onto a Virgin ship. Other lines differ, and the traveler reports disagree with each other: some cruisers carried market flowers aboard and were handed a vase, and a Carnival report for Seattle said that line does not allow fresh flowers aboard there. Those reports are not a policy you can plan a honeymoon on. Use the cruise line gift desk when it is open.
Which sailings does Virgin Voyages deliver flowers on?
Flower packages are only available on voyages departing Miami and San Juan, and they are delivered to the cabin. The governing quote says flower package purchases must be made no less than seventy-two (72) hours prior to sailing. No other Virgin homeport is listed on this record as a flower path. The cutoff table repeats that quote beside the other lines.
What if the romance package and the flower deadline disagree?
Use the quote the record marks as governing, and read the other figure on the line page rather than averaging them. On Norwegian, Flowers and Romance Package orders are published at no later than 5 days prior, and the flowers section that governs says one week prior, first day only. On Virgin Voyages, the forty-eight (48) hour add-on window excludes packages that include flowers. How it works is the path; the line page is the clock.
